Tn Hj Ahmad Effendi bin Ghazali, the President of FIIDA is a distinguished leader with a strong foundation in both corporate and entrepreneurial excellence. He holds a degree in Operations Management and Accounting from the University of Sunderland, United Kingdom, equipping him with a solid academic grounding in business and financial management.

He began his professional career in a multinational corporation, Penaga Dresser, where he served as a Branch Manager, demonstrating early leadership capabilities in managing operations and driving performance. He later continued his career with a public listed company, Bumi Armada Berhad, as an Assistant Manager, further strengthening his experience in the corporate sector.

His career progression led him to a senior management role within a Government-Linked Company (GLC) owned by the Terengganu state government, where he successfully managed and delivered high-impact projects valued at RM90 million. This experience reflects his strong capabilities in strategic planning, project execution, and stakeholder management at a large scale.

In 2015, he transitioned into entrepreneurship and has since built a highly successful business portfolio, achieving consistent annual revenues of up to RM30 million. His entrepreneurial journey highlights his resilience, vision, and ability to create sustainable growth.

Today, driven by a deep sense of purpose, he ventures into the field of education through FIIDA. His aspiration is to contribute meaningfully to nation-building by nurturing and educating the younger generation, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to succeed in the future.

Amir Shahreen Mohamad is an experienced procurement and supply chain leader with over 23 years of experience across the oil & gas, petrochemical, construction, and energy sectors. He has held key leadership roles with global industry players including PETRONAS, Optimal Chemicals (PETRONAS–Dow Chemical JV), Sadara Chemical Company (Saudi Aramco–Dow Chemical JV), and BASF, with regional exposure spanning Malaysia, Asia-Pacific (APAC) and the Middle East.

Throughout his career, Amir has managed complex commercial and contractual portfolios within large-scale EPC, plant commissioning, maintenance, and turnaround environments, overseeing portfolios exceeding USD 750 million annually. His expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, category management and total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization has consistently delivered operational efficiency and cost savings.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Amir brings significant value in bridging industry requirements with talent development. As Chief Executive Officer of FGA International Industry and Digital Academy (FIIDA), he leads the development of industry-driven training programs designed to produce skilled, job-ready workforce aligned with real market demands.

Leveraging his extensive industry network and practical experience, Amir drives strategic partnerships with regional and international industry players, enabling FIIDA to offer training that integrates real-world applications, technical competencies, and digital capabilities. His leadership ensures that graduates are equipped not only with knowledge, but with the practical skills required to succeed in today’s competitive industries.

Amir holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, and is a Chartered Professional in Supply Chain Management, reflecting his expertise in strategic procurement and supply chain leadership. He is also certified in Management and Leadership from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Amir also served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Trainer for SAP under the Material Management (MM) module during his tenure with PETRONAS, contributing to system implementation, process optimization, and digital procurement transformation initiatives.

With strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a passion for workforce development, Amir is well-positioned to position FIIDA as a leading industry-focused academy, delivering sustainable talent solutions and supporting the evolving needs of global industries.

Mislaiha A. Ghani serves as the Principal of FIIDA, bringing with her a strong blend of academic leadership, institutional management, and industry engagement. With proven experience as the top managerial in IPTS before, she has demonstrated exceptional capability in leading educational institutions towards achieving strategic goals, academic excellence, and operational effectiveness.

An enthusiastic and dedicated education professional, Mislaiha is deeply committed to delivering quality teaching and learning aligned with higher education standards. She is widely recognized for her ability to design and implement effective curriculum delivery, ensuring the achievement of learning outcomes, departmental targets, and institutional benchmarks.

Her leadership extends beyond traditional academic practices. She actively champions innovative teaching methodologies by integrating technology, including digital tools, software, and social platforms, to enhance both lecturer performance and student engagement. Her approach fosters a dynamic and future-ready learning environment that encourages positive attitudes, motivation, and continuous improvement.

Mislaiha also brings valuable experience in strengthening academic collaborations with higher education institutions (IPTA) and industry partners, ensuring that programmes remain relevant and responsive to current market needs.
