On 4 June 2026, representatives from FIIDA had the opportunity to visit MILI EV Hybrid, a leading Malaysian EV and Hybrid technology training provider, to explore potential areas of collaboration in advancing the Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem, particularly in the East Coast region of Malaysia.

The visit provided valuable insights into MILI EV Hybrid’s state-of-the-art training facilities, industry-recognized certifications, hands-on technical training modules, and practical exposure to EV and Hybrid vehicle technologies. FIIDA was also briefed on the latest developments in EV maintenance, battery systems, diagnostics, safety procedures, and workforce development initiatives.

As Malaysia accelerates its transition towards sustainable mobility and green technology adoption, the demand for skilled EV technicians, trainers, and industry professionals continues to grow. Through this discussion, both parties explored opportunities to collaborate in delivering industry-relevant training programs, capacity-building initiatives, certification pathways, and talent development programmes aimed at empowering youth, TVET graduates, and existing workforce participants in the East Coast states.
